Así es ser parte de una Tribe, where the common good is one's own good.

A tribe is much more than a team

Return to the anthropological concept of Tribe It seems interesting to me and should help us understand how we should relate to each other as equals, if what we aspire to is to humanise everything and, as a consequence, to pursue a lofty life purpose.

In essence, the Tribe a fight for the preservation of a common and shared ideal that transcends the very existence of each individual. The concept of Tribe It should be implementable as a working group relationship model and should even go further, becoming the logical relationship scenario between members of any future organisation.

Principales características de una tribu

The intrinsic characteristics of a Tribe, From the point of view of relationships and interactions, are of greater social depth and more resilient than the ephemeral relationships of team.I base these assertions on several differentiating facts, and I insist and want to clarify that they are all based on my personal experiences.

The common identity

The first differentiating aspect would be the defence of common identity;Since, beyond individualism, the general interest must always be shared and aspired to by the whole community. It is of vital importance that this purpose be one of high intention; it is what makes the difference and makes it a group cohesion element.

Making everyone feel that the mission is shared and that their role is crucial is essential for the community to set a focus that is simultaneously common, agreed upon, and desired by all. This defines you as a group and grants it a differential, personal, and unique character at the same time. The pride of belonging to your tribe And defending shoulder to shoulder the yearning of your community gives another meaning to your day-to-day and perhaps to your life.

One Tribe understands an initiative as a path in service of a higher purpose, a long-term path.

2. Emotional involvement

The second aspect to take into account would be the emotional implication; since from a more familial view of personal relationships, a Tribe It supports its strengths in solid and committed personal relationships. This creates a bond that transcends the workplace and, in some cases, spills into spaces reserved for intimacy that are only open to relationships of the highest trust.

Focusing on the importance of emotional involvement, I would first highlight the relevance of preservation of the group’s unity as a differentiating element. A Tribe It encourages neighbourly relations and intensifies personal experiences. In it, stimulating cores of affection, cohesion, and emotional support are provoked, and it encourages you to share activities with those you consider equals. Relationship scenarios are created where one seeks affinities and lasting relationships of trust, rather than the acceptance of sporadic relationships of less commitment and temporal depth, as happens in relationships formed between members of a team. A Tribe One speaks of brotherhood and a team speaks of camaraderie.

3. The protection of the individual

The third distinguishing feature worth highlighting would be the protection of the individual; ya que la característica más relevante de una Tribe It is the concern of some for others, the generation of empathy with the more disadvantaged, their high level of commitment and compassion, the protection of the weakest, supporting and uplifting them. Understanding the other as part of a whole and as an important and indispensable part gives stability to the Tribe. Co-petition is the relationship position between members of the Tribe, in the face of states of pure competition equipment, where demonstrations of power and smear tactics are aimed at dispensing with the least valid or most inconvenient team member from a hierarchical standpoint, this being the natural scenario for interaction.

For the Tribe The person is the whole and is part of us (I am because we are). For a team The person is a perfectly disposable pawn for something better or less inconvenient.

4. The existence of leaders and not bosses

Finally, I would highlight the importance of the The existence of a leader versus a boss; as organisations should maintain social order without centralised authority. Although everything eventually passes through the leader's hands, it must first pass through the filter and the diverse viewpoints of the Tribe, as it is she who grants the most holistic vision, perhaps from approaches that are found but enriching for the mission of the organisation to which they belong. This new way of empowering the group is, for me, the most courageous and innovative option, of which I have personally seen more advantages than disadvantages. The alignment of talent, focus, and recognition towards each individual within the Tribe ensures more humane, powerful, successful, and inspiring organisations.

A community Tribe with “Ubuntu”

I am convinced of the need to create communities. Tribe, that enhance the emotional bonds of their members, that place their purpose far above their ego, and that pursue with determination the eradication of humanity's great sufferings.

Until just a year ago, I thought a community like this was only possible in my dreams. Today, I am happy to find that I was mistaken. A community like this is what the Acumen Fellows Programme in the world; a community that leads a paradigm shift and whose members are willing to give their lives to strive for a better life for their neighbours.

Proud to belong to this tribe of humans with “Ubuntu”, an African concept fantastically described by Desmond Tutu; open individuals who dedicate themselves to and support others, who do not feel threatened when others are capable and good at something, because they are secure in themselves as they know they belong to a great totality, which diminishes when other people are humiliated or belittled, tortured or oppressed.

Because being human is not the same as being a human being., Ubuntu, now more than ever.

[23

post-9381","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-blog-post
["GET
