The pride of belonging to your tribe<\/em> And defending shoulder to shoulder the yearning of your community gives another meaning to your day-to-day and perhaps to your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One Tribe <\/em>understands an initiative as a path in service of a higher purpose, a long-term path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Emotional involvement<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The alignment of talent, focus, and recognition towards each individual within the Tribe<\/em> ensures more humane, powerful, successful, and inspiring organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A community Tribe<\/em> with \u201cUbuntu\u201d<\/strong>

I am convinced of the need to create communities. Tribe,<\/em> that enhance the emotional bonds of their members, that place their purpose far above their ego, and that pursue with determination the eradication of humanity's great sufferings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until just a year ago, I thought a community like this was only possible in my dreams. Today, I am happy to find that I was mistaken. A community like this is what the Acumen Fellows Programme<\/a> in the world; a community that leads a paradigm shift and whose members are willing to give their lives to strive for a better life for their neighbours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proud to belong to this tribe of humans with \u201cUbuntu\u201d, an African concept fantastically described by Desmond Tutu; open individuals who dedicate themselves to and support others, who do not feel threatened when others are capable and good at something, because they are secure in themselves as they know they belong to a great totality, which diminishes when other people are humiliated or belittled, tortured or oppressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
