The Impact Fund of Foundations<\/strong><\/a> concludes its first call funding two Spanish social enterprises: Apadrinaunolivo.org and RobinGood<\/strong>. Following the closure of the call for applications launched in July 2021 to find companies or projects with social impact seeking funding, these two companies will receive funding, technical advice, relational support and visibility from the Fund. Apadrinaunolivo.org will receive a loan of \u20ac35,000.<\/strong>; y RobinGood already has another \u20ac35,000.<\/strong> invested capital<\/strong>from the Fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To continue the fund, it will be launched in the last quarter of the year a Second call for social project funding<\/strong> with an investment of up to 40,000 euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Driven by 11 foundations in 2021, the Impact Foundations Fund's investment vehicle is a pioneering project in our country that aims to highlight that the contribution to Improving society and achieving financial profitability are compatible<\/strong> and to introduce non-profit organisations to impact investing in a practical and collaborative way. To date, 20 foundations are already part of the initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RobinGood: food with soul<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

RobinGood<\/strong><\/a> is born as a social enterprise offering \u2018food with soul\u2019<\/strong>artisan, local, and sustainable products, offering a range of sweet and savoury snacks, which are made in workshops located in Catalonia, the Basque Country, and Aragon by people experiencing difficulties accessing employment opportunities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company, included by Forward Fooding among the 500 most outstanding global foodtech startups in 2022, It employs 150 people at risk of social exclusion<\/strong> and has just closed a funding round, supported by Crowdcube. Currently, its products are available at El Corte Ingl\u00e9s, at Repsol petrol stations, at airports and train stations, in supermarkets such as BM, Ametller Origen, and in specialist shops like El Super de los Pastores.

Centenary olive trees that combat rural depopulation <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sponsor an olive tree.org<\/strong><\/a> born to fight rural depopulation starting from the Recovery and enhancement of thousands of abandoned olive trees in Oliete<\/strong>, a village in Teruel which has seen its population drastically decline in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
