One Acre Fund
One Acre Fund (OAF) is a nonprofit social enterprise working with more than 800,000 smallholder farmers in Sub-Saharan Africa to eradicate hunger and poverty. OAF provides financing for agricultural assets and other commodities, as well as training in agricultural techniques to small farmers. Operating in sub-Saharan Africa, in 2018, OAF has benefited more than 800,000 families, achieving an average annual increase in their incomes of +$91, with a 97% credit repayment ratio and a social return of almost 3 times the invested (SROI), which allows the organization to be sustainable at 70%.
